Project Overview

Comprehensive Care for Survivors of Child Sacrifice and Trafficking

Kyampisi Childcare Ministries (KCM) is a Ugandan nonprofit committed to rescuing, rehabilitating, and reintegrating children who have survived ritualistic sacrifice and trafficking. Based in Kyampisi, just east of Kampala, KCM provides around-the-clock care to children aged 0–18 through its certified residential rehabilitation center.

Currently, KCM supports 91 children in residence, many of whom are living with severe trauma, orthopedic injuries, and conditions such as cerebral palsy. In 2022 alone, KCM served over 220 children through its broader programming, which includes rehabilitation, community reintegration, and medical assessments.

The program delivers critical services including:

  • Physiotherapy to support neuromuscular and orthopedic recovery
  • Mental health and psychosocial support for children recovering from extreme trauma
  • Nutritional care tailored to each child’s needs
  • Reintegration planning to support safe return to families and communities
  • Community outreach to prevent re-trafficking and promote awareness

Despite its proven impact, the program remains underfunded. Without sufficient support, children risk long-term disabilities and delayed healing. Funding will go toward:

  • Therapeutic and rehabilitation equipment
  • Staff training in trauma-informed and physiotherapeutic care
  • Medical assessments for individualized recovery plans
  • Strengthening community reintegration pathways for long-term wellbeing
  • Support Rehabilitation for Child Survivors in Uganda
  • Your donation will help provide life-saving care and support for children who have experienced unimaginable abuse.

his project will provide specialized rehabilitation services—including physiotherapy, mental health care, and nutritional support—for child survivors of ritual sacrifice and trafficking in Uganda. Your support will ensure these children receive the care they need to heal, grow, and reintegrate into their communities.

Empowering Young Mothers Through Skill Development Training

Young mothers in Port Moresby’s settlements face high unemployment, lack of vocational training, and financial exclusion. Many rely on informal jobs with little stability or income. This project addresses those challenges by equipping 120 women with practical skills in tailoring, catering, beautician services, and entrepreneurship. It fosters self-reliance and reduces poverty by linking graduates to markets, financial services, and business mentorship.
